Blank slate

Took the wrong road,
For the right reasons,
Found my purpose
Formed a new perspective
How I perceived things
Was a reflection
of my mind state,
Now I’m working
On my imperfections,
Introspecting
all my actions,
And the deceptions
Fixing all the damage
Trying to be receptive
Starting on a blank slate,
While I’m headed
in a new direction,
Resurrection of my true self
And my soul’s purpose.
